...// a lesson in education

another goal i have set for myself to eventually accomplish is,

and one in which i will try my darndest to achieve,

to read a book a week...

not just any fictional pages of entertainment...

but something that is enlightening and educational...

...do i sound smart yet?

some may say ignorance is bliss

but i don't want to be ignorant in the ways of God

or in ways of improving myself...

...i mean like come on, i know i'm called to work with people

and thats not an easy calling... people bring problems...

and i want to be able to help people thru the problems not be scared to confront them...

... and i want to be able to receive a criticsm or two from people and not be shaken...

i heard a great quote once before...

"a mature man is not swayed by censure or praise"

or something like that...

and so here i am...

learning...

educating myself...

broadening my horizon of knowledge...

i really hope it all sinks in...

and to help it sink in... i'm gonna write a report on the book that i've read and what i've learned from it... or something along those lines...

pretty much... i'll let you know how things went and what i've underlined...

so here's to educating me... God help me...
